Pass plus

Pass Plus is a course of six modules, over a minimum of six hours, specially designed by the DSA for newly qualified drivers. There's no test - you just reach the required standard in each module and your instructor dates and signs it off on a form. The completed form is sent to the DSA, who will award you a certificate. When you get your certificate, some insurance companies will give you a discount on your insurance. If the discount is enough to cover the cost of the six hours, in effect the Pass Plus course will be free.

The six pas plus modules are:

Towns and city centres
Rural roads
All weather driving
Dual carriageways
Motorways
Night time driving
