Why learn in an automatic car?

It’s easier and quicker to learn in an automatic car. You don’t have to think about changing gear and clutch control, because the car will do it for you. This allows you to concentrate on planning and looking for hazards. Automatics are good for building confidence and are particularly good for people who are older or disabled. After 2030 all new cars will be electric. Nearly all electric and hybrid cars are automatic, so in the future all new cars may be automatic. After you pass your test in an automatic car, though, you can only drive automatics.
